WELCOMEUSA IS A SELF-HELP SOFTWARE TOOL. IT IS NOT A LAW FIRM AND IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR THE ADVICE OF AN ATTORNEY.
1. Self-help software only. welcomeUSA provides software, templates, general legal information and AI writing assistance so you can prepare your own immigration documents. welcomeUSA does not prepare, review, sign or file any document on your behalf, and does not represent you before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the Department of State, the immigration courts, or any other agency.
2. Not a law firm; no legal advice. welcomeUSA is not a law firm, attorney, or accredited representative, and does not practice law. Nothing welcomeUSA provides, including AI-generated text, is legal advice about your situation. Using welcomeUSA does not create an attorney-client relationship, and your communications with welcomeUSA are not protected by attorney-client privilege.
3. You are in control and responsible. You provide all facts and documents. You decide which forms to use, which eligibility category and criteria to claim, what evidence to include, and what to say. You are responsible for making sure everything you submit is true, complete, and current. You sign every form as the applicant or petitioner, under penalty of perjury.
4. AI can be wrong. welcomeUSA uses artificial intelligence to suggest structure and wording. AI output can be incomplete, outdated, or wrong, and can misstate facts or law. You must read, check, and edit every word before you use it. Never submit text you do not understand or cannot personally confirm is true.
5. No guarantee of any result. welcomeUSA does not guarantee, predict, or promise that any application or petition will be accepted, approved, or processed within any time. USCIS decides every case, and may deny a filing without first asking for more evidence.
6. Not affiliated with the government. welcomeUSA is a private company. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to USCIS, the Department of Homeland Security, or any government agency. Government filing fees are separate from welcomeUSA’s fees and are paid directly to the government.
7. When to get a lawyer. Talk to a licensed immigration attorney or a DOJ-accredited representative before filing if you have ever been arrested or charged, been in removal proceedings, been denied a visa or benefit, stayed past an authorized period, used another identity, or are unsure whether you qualify. Free or low-cost help may be available through DOJ-recognized organizations.
8. Your filings are your own. You alone decide whether and when to file. welcomeUSA does not submit anything to any agency.
welcomeUSA is self-help immigration software. It puts your answers on the official USCIS forms and checks your packet for completeness. It is not a law firm, does not give legal advice, is not affiliated with USCIS or any government agency, and guarantees no result. You file your own petition. By creating an account or using the service, you accept these terms.
The software identifies the petition that fits your answers, fills the current official forms, builds your document checklist, organizes your evidence, drafts your cover letter, and checks every field, signature, and document for completeness, in English, Spanish, or Portuguese. It does not give legal advice or judge your chances, and its completeness check is not a legal review. If you need advice, we can connect you with an independent licensed attorney; any relationship with that attorney is yours, not ours.
You must be at least 18. Keep your login private. Use the service for your own petition, or one you are authorized to prepare, such as for a family member. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter; the software fills your forms from your answers.
Your exact technology fee is shown in the free eligibility check, before you pay anything. USCIS filing fees are paid by you directly to the government and never pass through us. Qualifying humanitarian cases are built free. Refunds follow the refund policy.
Your answers, documents, and petition are yours; you give us only the license needed to run the service on your case. You can download your materials or delete your account and data at any time. The software, this site, and its content are ours; do not copy, scrape, or resell them. USCIS forms are U.S. government works.
Use the service truthfully and lawfully. Do not misrepresent facts, prepare a petition you are not authorized to prepare, or disrupt our systems; we may suspend or close accounts that do. If you prepare petitions for others as a business, you are responsible for the rules that apply to you.
You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We can end accounts that break these terms. Your ownership of your case, our ownership of the software, payments already owed, and the limits below continue after the agreement ends.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” AND WELCOMEUSA DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WELCOMEUSA DOES NOT WARRANT THE OUTCOME OF ANY IMMIGRATION PETITION; DECISIONS ARE MADE BY THE U.S. GOVERNMENT.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WELCOMEUSA IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR OPPORTUNITY, AND ITS TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID WELCOMEUSA FOR THE SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
You agree to indemnify welcomeUSA against claims, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from false or misleading information you provide, filings you sign and submit, or your violation of these terms or the law. This does not shift to you anything that remains our responsibility under section 08.
If something goes wrong, contact us first; most problems can be solved directly. These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of welcomeUSA’s state of establishment, and formal disputes belong to the courts with jurisdiction there. Nothing here limits a consumer right the law does not allow you to give up.
These terms, the privacy policy, and the refund policy are the whole agreement between us. If one provision is unenforceable, the rest still apply. Not enforcing a provision once does not waive it. You may not transfer this agreement; we may, in a reorganization or sale, with your protections intact. We send notices to your account email; you can reach us through the contact page. Neither of us is responsible for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control.
If we change these terms, the new version appears here with a new effective date, and a material change is announced before it takes effect. Using the service after that date means you accept the new terms.
